Abstract: Song from La Fee Urgele: first line 'Ah! que l'amour est chose jolie'.
Description: Transcribed by G. Dooley from song in Jane Austen's hand in Jane Austen House Museum manuscript (JAHM 7:14). According to Gammie and McCulloch ('Jane Austen's Music') the opera 'La Fee Urgele' was not by Phillidor but by Egidio Romualdo Duni. Some French words unclear. Segnos left in place as in MS, but likely repeats added.
