| Abstract: | The goal of the Youth Drug Peer Action Project was to work in partnership with young people and service providers to reduce the harm caused by drugs to young people living in the Onkaparinga region. The objectives of the project were to increase the effectiveness of strategies designed to prevent harm arising from drug use by young people in Onkaparinga; to increase young people's involvement in raising awareness and knowledge of drug issues in a range of government and non-government community organisations; to assist young people to be partners in developing the youth drug strategy; to increase awareness and knowledge about drug issues in young people and the general community; and to increase co-ordination of services for young people. |
