Uveitis in human immunodeficiency virus-infected individuals
Abstract
Since the first description in 1982 of ocular involvement in individuals testing positive for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), a large volume of work has described the spectrum of uveitis that may occur in the setting of HIV infection. In this review we describe the causes of uveitis of HIV-positive persons, considering both infectious and noninfectious entities.
