We all want to reduce crime, and the reduction of crime is a laudable objective enbraced by all. Three issues are canvassed, and how they are answered might shape our approach to crime control. Has crime changed over the years? Do we have a law and order problem? Is there a sufficient level of trust and confidence in our criminal justice system?
